Calcium Carbonate

Calcium carbonate is otherwise known as chalk. It’s used to harden the dye bath water to enhance the colors of the more rare calcium loving dyes such as weld and madder root. Add approximately 1 tsp. of chalk per gallon of water to your weld or madder root dye bath.
