BARN DANCE QUILT
Made from organically grown naturally dyed and vintage fabrics. This piece began with a bit of vintage folk fabric that I framed in the center of the quilt to give the feeling of peeking through a cottage window. In a medallion quilt style I built the rest of the quilt off the center foundation. In the end it felt like a merry barn dance and garden party.
Machine pieced and hand quilted with Japanese sashiko thread. Organic cotton batting.
