Argillaceous as in shades of clay. This palette was deeply inspired by the colors of Moab.
Made from organic linen fabrics that I dyed with plants and minerals, and fair-trade khadi cotton that was hand woven by a women’s collective in India. The khadi cotton is so delicate and soft. A dream!
Machine pieced. Hand quilted with brown sashiko thread from Japan. The batting is organic cotton and the binding was sewn by hand.
